Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-18395]-

Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-18395]-Detection of human GOLPH3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-GOLPH3 antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. GOLPH3 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-GOLPH3 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated GOLPH3, was used at 0. 4 mg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

The Golgi complex plays a key role in the sorting and modification of proteins exported from the endoplasmic reticulum. The protein encoded by this gene is a peripheral membrane protein of the Golgi stack and may have a regulatory role in Golgi trafficking. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of these variants has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq]
