CLEC4F, also known as the Kupffer cell receptor (KCR), galactose particle receptor, and the fucose receptor, is a transmembrane C-type lectin that binds galactose and N-acetylgalactosamine. Its assembly into a homotrimer is mediated by the extended coiled coil stalk region.
