Data Examples
Intracellular Staining by Flow Cytometry
Detection of Latent TGF‑ beta  bp1 in PC‑3 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. PC‑3 human prostate cancer cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Latent TGF‑ beta  bp1 PE‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # IC388P, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC002P, open histogram). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Background: Latent TGF-beta bp1
TGF-beta  is synthesized as high molecular weight latent complexes. In platelets, the large latent TGF-beta 1 complex is composed of three components: mature TGF-beta 1 dimer; latency associated peptide; and a latent TGF-beta binding protein (LTBP) (1-3).The cDNAs for four binding proteins (LTBP-1, -2, -3 and -4) have now been cloned (4-5).
