Immunoprecipitation:LZTS2 AntibodyNBP3-29411] -Detection of human LZTS2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-LZTS2 antibody NBP3-29411 (lot NBP3-29411-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. LZTS2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-LZTS2 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated LZTS2, NBP3-29411 was used at 0.1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: LZTS2

LZTS2, also known as leucine zipper putative tumor suppressor 2, is a 72.8 kDa, 669 amino acid protein that is involved in formation of the central spindle during cytokinesis. Current research is being conducted to link the protein to diseases such as ataxia, breast cancer, prostatitis, and Alzheimer's disease. The protein interacts in mitosis and cell division pathways with other proteins such as NINL, CCDC85B, RHOXF2, RBPMS, and ZNF512B.
