Background: MRPS27

MRPS27, or Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S27, consists of a 414 amino acid isoform that is 48 kDa, and is involved in the manufacture of proteins as a portion of the small 28S mitochondrial ribosomal subunit. MRPS27 is not currently involved in any disease research. The protein is not linked to any pathways, but does interact with several other proteins, including YWHAZ, YWHAQ, HNRNPA1, ICT1, and DHX30.
