Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-29379]-Detection of human MRPS36 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MRPS36 antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. MRPS36 was also immunoprecipitated by a rabbit anti-MRPS36 antibodies and. For blotting immunoprecipitated MRPS36, was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: MRPS36

MRPS36, also known as Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S36, consists of a 103 amino acid isoform that is 11 kDa, and is involved in the synthesis of proteins within the mitochondria. There is no current research being conducted on the relationship between MRPS36 and any diseases or disorders. MRPS36 has been linked to the process of translation, and has been found to interact with UBC and MRPL42.
