Immunoprecipitation:Musashi-2 Antibody[NBP3-28890] -

Immunoprecipitation:Musashi-2 Antibody[NBP3-28890] -Detection of human MSI2 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MSI2 antibody NBP3-28890 used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. MSI2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MSI2 antibodies which recognize downstream epitopes. For blotting immunoprecipitated MSI2, was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Musashi 2 encodes a protein containing two conserved tandem RNA recognition motifs. Similar proteins in other species function as RNA-binding proteins and play central roles in posttranscriptional gene regulation. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
