Western Blot: NF2/Merlin Antibody (JE31-02) [NBP3-32589] - Western blot analysis of NF2/Merlin on different lysates with Rabbit anti-NF2/Merlin antibody (NBP3-32589) at 1/500 dilution.

8% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32589) at 1/500 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:200,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: NF2/Merlin

Merlin, also known as Neurofibromin 2 (NF2), is a tumor suppressor gene. Merlin is closely related to the ERM (ezrin, radixin, moesin) family of proteins. The precise function of Merlin is not clear. It is thought to provide a link between the actin cytoskeleten and membrane associated proteins, playing a role in transduction of extracellular signals. Merlin has been implicated in cell proliferation and cellular motility.
