Q: I am interested in Whole Normal Pancreas Tissue Lysate (Adult Normal) (NB820-59244). Would you please let me know how much protein you recommend to load on the gel?
A: This lysate should be prepared and ready to load in Western Blot. We recommend loading 20-40 ug of protein into your well to use as a positive control.
-
Q: Would you provide these information listed below? 1. The procedure of this lysate preparation. 2. The recipes of the buffer. ( component and concentration) In the data sheet, it only list the component: HEPES, pH 7.9, MgCl2, KCL, EDTA, Sucrose, Glycerol, Sodium deoxycholate, NP-40, and a cocktail of protease inhibitors.
A: The lysate was prepared using Biochain's total protein extraction kit (cat # K3011010). The buffer composition is listed on the datasheet however I am unable to disclose the amount of each component as that information is proprietary.
