Immunoprecipitation:PLCL3 AntibodyNBP3-30174] -Detection of human PLCH1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PLCH1 antibody (NBP3-30174 lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. PLCH1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PLCH1 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated PLCH1, NBP3-30174 was used at 0.4 mg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

PLCH1 is a member of the PLC-eta family of the phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC) superfamily of enzymes that cleave phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PtdIns(4,5)P2) to generate second messengers inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG) (Hwang et al., 2005 (PubMed 15702972)).(supplied by OMIM)
