Immunoprecipitation:RALBP1 AntibodyNBP3-29404] -Detection of human RLIP76 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RLIP76 antibody NBP3-29404 (lot NBP3-29404-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. RLIP76 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-RLIP76.. For blotting immunoprecipitated RLIP76, A304-498A was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: RALBP1

The receptor interacting protein kinase 1 (RIP1) is essential for the activation of nuclear factor kappaB (NF-kappaB) by tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFalpha). RIP1 can be polyubiquitinated at Lys 377, which is required for the activation of IkappaB kinase (IKK) and NF-kappaB.
