Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-18378]-Detection of human GORAB by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-GORAB antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. GORAB was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-GORAB antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated GORAB, was used at 0. 4 mg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

NTKL-binding protein 1 (GORAB) belongs to the golgin family of coiled-coil proteins located in the golgi apparatus. GORAB interacts with SCYL1, RCHY1 and RAB6A/RAB6. At least 4 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
