Simple Plex Discovery Human CCL13/MCP-4 Assay Summary

Simple Plex Discovery assay is for the detection of human CCL13/MCP-4 in cell culture supernatant (CCS), serum, and plasma (EDTA/Heparin) in Sample Diluent SD13.

*The Sample Volume represented is based on the amount of sample incorporated into the reaction after taking into account the assay's minimum required dilution for a given matrix. Serial dilution may be necessary to achieve some of the final sample volumes represented.

Background: CCL13/MCP-4

Human MCP-4, also known as CCL13, encodes a 98 amino acid (aa) precursor protein with a 23 aa hydrophobic signal peptide that is cleaved to yield an 8 kDa, 75 aa mature MCP-4. Mature MCP-4 lacks any potential N-glycosylation sites and shares a pyroglutamate proline motif with other human MCP proteins.
