Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-18385]-

Immunoprecipitation:[NBP3-18385]-Detection of human SNX16 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SNX16 antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. SNX16 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SNX16 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated SNX16, was used at 0. 4 mg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: SNX16

SNX16 encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. The function of this protein has not been determined. This gene results in three transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms.
