Western Blot:[NBP3-29897]-Detection of human and mouse SUZ12 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa, HEK293T, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SUZ12 antibody used for WB at 0. 04 µg/ml and 1 µg/ml and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. SUZ12 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SUZ12 antibody BL8750, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

Background: SUZ12

This zinc finger gene has been identified at the breakpoints of a recurrent chromosomal translocation reported in endometrial stromal sarcoma. Recombination of these breakpoints results in the fusion of this gene and JAZF1. The protein encoded by this gene contains a zinc finger domain in the C terminus of the coding region.
