TP 238 is a cat eye syndrome chromosome region, candidate 2 (CECR2) and bromodomain PHD finger transcription factor (BPTF/FALZ) inhibitor (IC₅₀ values are 10-30 and 100-350 nM, respectively).

A concentration of no more than 2 μM is recommended for use in cellular assays.
