Background: Troponin T Type 2 (cardiac)

Troponin T Type 2 (cardiac), also known as TNNT2, is the tropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex, which is located on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulates muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentration. Mutations in this gene have been associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as with restrictive and dilated cardiomyopathy. Recombinant human TNNT2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.

FAQs for Recombinant Human Troponin T Type 2 (cardiac) His Protein

Showing  1 - 1 of 1 FAQ Showing All
  • Q: A customer is looking for an antigen Cardiac Troponin T for her ELISA, but it must not have a His-tag and no mercaptoethanol in the buffer. Would this be true for the antigen NBC1-28765? In addition, the customer wants to be sure that it really is a Cardiac Troponin T, because on your website some different information are given, like TNNT1 which is slow skeletal muscle.

A: I have carried out a search and I cannot find a suitable protein that matches your customers request. Product NBC1-28765 is not a Cardiac Troponin T Protein. It is slow skeletal muscle. I am very sorry that we do not have what your customer is looking for!
