Immunoprecipitation:WDR1 AntibodyNBP3-29322] -Detection of human WDR1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-WDR1 antibody NBP3-29322 (lot NBP3-29322-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. WDR1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-WDR1.. For blotting immunoprecipitated WDR1, NBP3-29322 was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: WDR1

WDR1 (WD repeat domain 1) induces disassembly of actin filaments. The protein contains 9 WD repeats are involved in protein protein interactions and are approximately 30 to 40 amino acid domains containing several conserved residues, mostly including a trp-asp at the C terminal end.
