Tesmin Products

MTL5, also known as Tesmin, consists of 3 isoforms, a 508 amino acid isoform that is 55 kDa, a 306 amino acid isoform that is 32 kDa and a 251 amino acid isoform that is 27 kDa, expressed specifically in testis, has been shown to be expressed differentially in mouse testis and ovary and probably may have a role in spermatogenesis. Disease research is currently being studied with relation to MTL5 and neuronitis. This protein has been linked to the cellular metal ion homeostasis, multicellular organismal development, spermatogenesis, response to metal ion, and cell differentiation pathways.
