Sheep Anti-Human VCAM‑1/CD106 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF809) was biotinylated and incubated with the protein captured on the plate. Detection of the standard curve was achieved by incubating Streptavidin-HRP (Catalog # DY998)

Background: VCAM-1/CD106

Vascular cell adhesion molecule (VCAM-1) is expressed on the surface of activated endothelial cells and macrophages. It binds to leukocyte integrins VLA-4 and alpha 4 beta 7 to promote leukocyte adhesion at sites of inflamed vasculature.
