Background: Influenza B nucleoprotein

Influenza virus B is a genus in the virus family Orthomyxoviridae. A limited host range means that Influenza virus B pandemics are rare. The nucleoprotein protects the negative strand viral RNA from nucleases by encapsidating it. encapsidated genomic RNA is termed the ribonucleoprotein (RNP) and serves as template for transcription and replication.

FAQs for Influenza B nucleoprotein Antibody - (B/Taiwan/753/2005) - BSA Free

Showing  1 - 11 FAQ Showing All
  • Q: We ordered your Influenza A nucleoprotein. We tested it. And it worked well for us. I am wondering if you also have Influenza B nucleoprotein, Recombinant. I don’t see it in your catalog.

A: At this time, it appears we only carry antibodies direct towards Influenza B nucleoprotein. We do not currently have a recombinant protein to this target. I apologize for the inconvenience.
