Immunoprecipitation;Brachyury Antibody Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from NCI-H460 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TBXT antibody used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. TBXT was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TBXT antibody. For bting immunoprecipitated TBXT, was used at 0.4 mg/ml0. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: Brachyury

Brachyury / Bry is encoded by this gene is an embryonic nuclear transcription factor that binds to a specific DNA element, the palindromic T-site. It binds through a region in its N-terminus, called the T-box, and effects transcription of genes required for mesoderm formation and differentiation. The protein is localized to notochord-derived cells.
