Western Blot: CaM Kinase II [p Thr286] Antibody (JE51-81) [NBP3-32752] - Western blot analysis of CaM Kinase II on different lysates with Rabbit anti-CaM Kinase II antibody (NBP3-32752) at 1/1,000 dilution.

Lane 1: Human brain tissue lysate
Lane 2: Mouse brain tissue lysate
Lane 3: Rat brain tissue lysate
Lane 4: Mouse brain treated with pp for 1 hour tissue lysate

Observed band size: 50~60 kDa

Exposure time: 53 seconds;

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32752) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: CaM Kinase II

Calmodulin kinase II (CaMKII) is an 8 - 12 subunit multimeric calcium/calmodulin dependent Ser/Thr protein kinase. It is ubiquitously expressed and interacts with a very diverse group of substrates. In rat, there are four possible subunits/isozymes (alpha, beta, gamma, delta), each of which contains a catalytic, autoregulatory, and subunit-association domain.
