|Detection of CD151 in Human Peripheral Blood Platelets by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood platelets were stained with Mouse Anti-Human CD151 PE‑conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1884P) and FITC-conjugated anti-human CD41. Quadrant maker was set based on isotype control antibody staining (Catalog # IC0041P). View our protocol for Staining Membrane-associated Proteins.|
CD151 is a tetraspanin superfamily glycoprotein expressed by endothelium, epithelia, megakaryocytes, and platelets. It associates with other tetraspanin proteins and with some integrins including alpha 3/ beta 1, alpha 6/ beta 1, alpha 6/ beta 4, and alpha 7/ beta 1. CD151 modulates cellular adhesion, cell migration, and platelet activation.
