FK506 binding protein, 25 kDa molecular weight (FKBP25), also called FKBP3, is a peptidyl-prolyl isomerase that catalyzes the transition between cis- and trans-proline residues critical for proper folding of proteins. The macrolide immunosuppressant Rapamycin is a potent inhibitor of FKBP25. FKBP25 is localized in the nucleus, where it alters the activity of histone deacetylases and transcription factors. It is found in many tissues, including brain, thymus, and spleen.

Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse/Rat FKBP25 Antibody
Detection of Human FKBP25 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line, MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, and CHP-100 human neuroblastoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human/Mouse/Rat FKBP25 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3955) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band was detected for FKBP25 at approximately 25 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human/Mouse/Rat FKBP25 Antibody
