Surface Plasmon Resonance: Jagged 1 Antibody (J1G53-3) [NBP3-11671] - SPR analysis of the interaction between Jagged 1 antibody (J1G53-3) derivative hJagged1-Fc fusion protein. SPR response was taken when 13, 6.5, 3.25, 1.625, and 0.8125nM of J1G53-3 were injected onto the hJagged1-Fc fusion protein. J1G53-3 exhibited the highest binding affinity, and its property and binding ability was studied in detail by spectroscopy and surface Plasmon resonance (SPR). The result acquired through SPR was as follows: Kd value was 1.08nM and value of chi-square was 0.0237 through SPR analysis.

Background: Jagged 1

The jagged 1 protein encoded by JAG1 is the human homolog of the Drosophilia jagged protein. Human jagged 1 is theligand for the receptor notch 1, the latter a human homolog of the Drosophilia jagged receptor notch. Mutations thatalter the jagged 1 protein cause Alagille syndrome. Jagged 1 signalling through notch 1 has also been shown to play arole in hematopoiesis. (provided by RefSeq)
