Immunoprecipitation:LZTS1 AntibodyNBP3-30005] -Detection of human LZTS1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-LZTS1 antibody NBP3-30005 (lot NBP3-30005-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. LZTS1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-LZTS1 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated LZTS1, NBP3-30005 was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background: LZTS1

LZTS1, also known as leucine zipper putative tumor suppressor 1, consists of seven isoforms of sizes 66.6 kDa, 63.8 kDa, 62.9 kDa, 59.8 kDa, 55.6 kDa, 22.5 kDa, and 8.6 kDa and is involved in suppressing tumors by regulating cell growth. Diseases and disorder such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, melanoma, esophagitis, squamous cell carcinoma, lung cancer, and prostatitis are being researched with the protein. The protein interacts in transcription, gene expression, and RNA Polymerase III transcription initiation pathways with CDK1, GTF3A, CDC25C, EEF1G, and GTF3C1.
