The samples were then run in theassay. The melatonin concentration in each sample wasdetermined from the standard curve. Concentrations were plottedas a function of sample dilution. Parallelism of the curvesdemonstrates that the standard binding characteristics are similarenough to allow the accurate determination of native melatoninlevels in diluted samples matrices of animal and plant origin.
