Immunoprecipitation:MPZL1 AntibodyNBP3-28893] -Detection of human PZR by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PZR antibody NBP3-28893 (lot NBP3-28893-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. PZR was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PZR antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated PZR, NBP3-28893 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: MPZL1

MPZL1, or Myelin protein zero-like protein 1, contains five isoforms that are 29 kDa, 28 kDa, 23 kDa, 16 kDa, and 12 kDa, and is involved in the process of signal transduction as a cell surface receptor. Research is currently being conducted on MPZL1 and its relation to a variety of diseases and disorders, including noonan syndrome, schizophrenia, essential hypertension, t-cell leukemia, tooth disease, and choroiditis. MPZL1 has been linked to the protein tyrosine kinase signaling pathway, and has been found to interact with PTPN11, SRC, EXOSC4, UBC, and ELAVL1.
