Western Blot: PP2A alpha [p Tyr307] Antibody (9B7Z9) [NBP3-16919] - Western blot analysis of extracts of NIH/3T3 cells, using PP2A alpha Rabbit mAb (NBP3-16919) at 1:1000 dilution.NIH/3T3 cells were treated by Forskolin (30 uM) at 37C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% BSA. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 3s.

Background: PP2A

Protein phosphatase type 2A (PP2A ) is a protein serine/threonine phosphatase that controls fundamental cellular processes, including transcription, translation, metabolism, cell growth, apoptosis, and varied other signal transduction pathways. PP2A is comprised of a core enzyme (which is made up of catalytic C and regulatory A (PR65) subunits) and a secondary regulatory B subunit. PP2A alpha refers to the alpha isoform of the PP2A catalytic subunit.
