Immunoprecipitation:PRKCSH AntibodyNBP3-30607] -Detection of human PRKCSH by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PRKCSH antibody NBP3-30607 (lot NBP3-30607-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. PRKCSH was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PRKCSH antibody BL18483. For blotting immunoprecipitated PRKCSH, NBP3-30607 was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background: PRKCSH

PRKCSH encodes the beta-subunit of glucosidase II, an N-linked glycan-processing enzyme in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). This protein is an acidic phospho-protein known to be a substrate for protein kinase C. Mutations in this gene have been associated with the autosomal dominant polycystic liver disease (PCLD). Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed. [provided by RefSeq]
