This peptide sequence is highly conserved in rat and mouse Sphingosine Kinase 2/SPHK2 proteins, and has no homology to SK1. [UniProt# Q9NRA0]

Specificity

The antibody detects 70 kDa proteins corresponding to the molecular mass of Sphingosine Kinase 2/SPHK2 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human recombinant Sphingosine Kinase 2/SPHK2 and endogenous Sphingosine Kinase 2/SPHK2 in human HeLa cells.
