Flow Cytometry: TROP-2 Antibody (MM0588-49D6) [NBP2-11982] - An intracellular stain was performed on A431 cells with TROP-2 Antibody [MM0588-49D6] NBP2-11982B (blue) and a matched isotype control (orange). Both antibodies were conjugated to Biotin. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and then permeabilized with 0.1% saponin. Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 2.5 ug/mL for 30 minutes at room temperature, followed by Streptavidin - R-Phycoerythrin Protein (2012-1000, Novus Biologicals).

Background: TROP-2

TROP2 encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations of this gene result in gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness. [provided by RefSeq]
