Immunoprecipitation:UBE2S AntibodyNBP3-29545] -Detection of human E2-EPF by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-E2-EPF antibody NBP3-29545 (lot NBP3-29545-1) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. E2-EPF was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-E2-EPF.. For blotting immunoprecipitated E2-EPF, NBP3-29545 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background: UBE2S

UBE2S, also known as ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2S, is a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This protein is able to form a thiol ester linkage with ubiquitin in an ubiquitin activating enzyme-dependent manner, a characteristic property of ubiquitin carrier proteins. It catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins.
