CCK1 Receptor Agonists

The cholecystokinin₁ receptor (CCK₁ receptor, CCK-A receptor) is a member of the cholecystokinin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes CCK₂. They are located primarily in the pancreas, gall bladder, intestine and vagus nerve where they play a role in food intake, pancreatic exocrine secretion, gall bladder contractility and GI motility. The human CCK₁ receptor gene has been localized to chromosome 4 (4p15.1-p15.2).
