GRB7 (Growth factor receptor-bound protein 7) mediates the coupling of multiple cell surface receptors to downstream signaling pathways in the regulation of various cellular functions, such as proliferation, apoptosis, and cell migration. GRB7 protein consists of several distinctive structural features, including an amino-terminal proline-rich region, a central GM region (for Grb and Mig), and a carboxyl-terminal SH2 domain. GRB7 is phosphorylated by focal adhesion kinase at cell adhesion sites.

Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse/Rat GRB7 Antibody
Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat GRB7 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of CCD-1070Sk human foreskin fibroblast cell line, NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line and Rat-2 rat embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Human/Mouse/Rat GRB7 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4856) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for GRB7 at approximately 70 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.GRB7 in Human Liver Cancer Tissue.
GRB7 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver cancer tissue using Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat GRB7 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4856) at 1 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Sheep IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC006). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm in hepatocytes.
