TNF RII/TNFRSF1B in Human Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes. TNF RII/TNFRSF1B was detected in immersion fixed human peripheral blood lymphocytes using 5 µg/mL Goat Anti-Human TNF RII/TNFRSF1B Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AB‑226‑PB) for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained (red) and counterstained (green). View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

TNF RII/TNFRSF1B was detected in immersion fixed THP‑1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line but is not detected in TNF RII/TNFRSF1B knockout (KO) THP‑1 Human cell line using Goat Anti-Human TNF RII/TNFRSF1B Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AB-226-PB) at 5 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red; NL001) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell membrane. Staining was performed using our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

Background: TNF RII/TNFRSF1B

TNF RII is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on hematopoietic cells and is designated TNFRSF1B. TNF RII is a highaffinity receptor for TNF alpha and TNF beta. A soluble form of the receptor generated by proteolytic cleavage functions as a TNF antagonist.
