BOC and CDO (cell adhesion molecule-related/down-regulated by oncogenes) are cell surface receptors belonging to the Ig/fibronectin type III (FNIII) repeat family. Both proteins have five Ig repeats and three FNIII repeats in their extracellular domains, an arrangement shared by Robo proteins. BOC and CDO are co-expressed in muscle precursor cells during development. BOC associates with CDO in cis and forms complexes with cadherins to regulate myogenic differentiation.

Scientific Data Images for Mouse BOC Antibody
Detection of BOC in Mouse Embryo.
BOC was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse embryo using Goat Anti-Mouse BOC Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2385) at 15 µg/ml for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Goat IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC004) or the HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to the membrane of the neural tube, spinal cord.
