Scientific Data Images for Mouse Meteorin-like/METRNL Antibody
Meteorin‑like/METRNL in Mouse Embryo.
Meteorin-like/METRNL was detected in immersion fixed frozen sections of mouse embryo (13 d.p.c.) using Sheep Anti-Mouse Meteorin-like/METRNL Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6679) at 0.6 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Sheep HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS019) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to muscle cells. Application: Immunohistochemistry-ParaffinSample Tested: Kidney tissueSpecies: MouseVerified Customer | Posted 10/01/2026The image shows specific and well-defined staining for METRNL in the renal cortex of a mouse with acute kidney injury (AKI). The positive signal is localized primarily in tubular epithelial cells, exhibiting a heterogeneous distribution. We have used the Mouse Meteorin-like/METRNL Antibody in mouse kidney samples with acute kidney injury (AKI), using a 1:100 dilution for immunohistochemistry. The antibody demonstrated specific and well-defined staining, particularly in the renal cortex, as shown in the attached image. The signal clearly identifies METRNL-positive areas, providing good contrast with the surrounding tissue and exhibiting a low level of nonspecific staining. In the context of AKI, the observed staining pattern is especially noteworthy, as METRNL has been associated with inflammatory, metabolic, and tissue injury response processes. In our sample, the cortical staining reveals a localized distribution of the protein within renal structures affected by acute injury, facilitating the study of its potential role in the renal tissue response to damage.
