Background: OR2T1

OR2T1, also known as Olfactory receptor 2T1, is a 41.2 kDa, 369 amino acid protein that is involved in olfactory signal transduction as a member of the olfactory receptor gene family. Neuronitis is currently being studied for its potential link to the protein. The protein interacts in GPCR downstream signaling and olfactory signaling pathways with OR2T6, OR1J2, OR52E6, GNAL, and OR2M4 proteins.
