Background: RCN3

The RCN3 gene encodes a 328 amino acid, 37 kDA reticulocalbin-3 (EF-hand calcium binding domain) protein that is known to interact with genes PCSK6, SUFU, PRUNE2, HIST2H2AA3, and HIST2H2AA4. RCN3 has been investigated regarding its role in ollier disease, malaria, neuronitis, and chondroblastoma.
