R&D Systems is proud to support education in science with a scholarship program established to students who are pursuing a degree in a science related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science).

A $1500 (or international currency equivalent) scholarship will be awarded twice a year for one student in the fall semester and one student in the spring semester. *For universities within the US, Canada, and European Countries only.

Academic Information

We only accept applicants who are currently enrolled/accepted at a university. If selected, the funds are sent directly to the university listed in the application to disperse.

Application Materials

Upload any type of documentation/verification of the degree/program you have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in at the institution mentioned in your application. This can be any document showing your institute and field of study.

Eligibility
  • Applicants must have a major declared in a science related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science)
  • Open to all levels of education above high school
  • Open for students studying in a college/university within the US, Canada, and European Countries only.
  • Enrolled or accepted for enrollment at time of application (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma).
Deadline & Announcement
  • Deadline for this application is July 19, 2023 12 p.m. MST.
  • Only the recipient will be emailed directly announcing the selection. All others can check this page for the announcement.
FAQs
  • What majors qualify?
    • We accept most science related majors (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science - i.e. Nursing, Biology, Chemistry, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Medical Engineering etc.) Full list can be found in the application form above. *Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, etc are NOT eligible majors for this scholarship.
  • Is there a fee?
    • There is no fee.
  • When will the scholarship funds be awarded?
    • If selected, we will send the check directly to the university listed in the application to disperse.

  1. Scholarships will be awarded to support the recipient’s listed university in the application for the awarded semester.
  2. All applications must be submitted to R&D Systems via the form above by the deadline.
  3. Any student currently enrolled/accepted at an institution/college above high school level is eligible to apply (PhD, baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma).
  4. Applicants must complete the application form in full.
  5. Scholarship recipients will be determined via a selection committee.
  6. The recipient will be contacted by email one week after the deadline and also announced online.
  7. Scholarships will be paid to the recipient’s listed university. A student ID number will be required.
  8. By submitting this application, you agree to receive information from Bio-Techne brands (R&D Systems, Tocris Bioscience, Novus Biologicals and ProteinSimple), including distributors.
