Overview of Organelle Markers
Subcellular localization can be critical for the biological function of a molecule and is often dysregulated in disease. Using immunocytochemistry (ICC) or immunohistochemistry (IHC) to co-localize your protein of interest with known organelle-associated protein markers is the gold-standard technique for defining subcellular localization.
