FAQs for ARID1B Antibody - BSA Free
-
Q: What does WB(-) mean? That image was a blot on IP done with the antibody but it did not state whether that the observed IP band was detected by the antibody or the other antibody (NB100-57484). It would be great if you could confirm with Novus on whether the observed band was blotted with NB100-57485 and whether the antibody has been tested with whole cell lysate. Could you please advise the above? Thanks for your help :)
A: Thank you for contacting Novus Biologicals Technical Support. NB100-57485 is not recommended for use in Western blot. It has been tested and validated for use in IP and IHC-Paraffin. The Western blot image you see associate with that product represents an immunoprecipitation of HeLa cell extracts using NB100-57485 and NB100-57484. The antibody that was used for the Western blot was NB100-57484.
