Western Blot: DLG1 Antibody [NBP1-26611]

Western Blot: DLG1 Antibody [NBP1-26611] - Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 mcg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Affinity purified rabbit anti-SAP97 used for WB at 0.04 mcg/ml (A) and 0.4 mcg/ml (B) and used for IP at 10 mcg/mg lysate. SAP97 was also immunoprecipitated by another rabbit anti-SAP97 antibody, which recognizes a downstream epitope.

Background: DLG1

SAP97 (synapse-associated protein 97), also known as DLG1 (disks large homolog 1), is a scaffolding protein that contains three PDZ domains, one SH3 domain, one L27 domain, and one guanylate kinase-like domain. SAP97 has been found to control ion channel clustering at post-synaptic densities in neural cells and to also play a role in adherens junction assembly, and the recruitment of signaling molecules to discreet plasma membrane domains.
