eEF2K (C-terminus) synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponds to amino acids in the C-terminal region of human eEF2K. This sequence is well conserved in rat, mouse, chicken, and fish eEF2K, and has low homology to other proteins. [UniProt# O00418]
Specificity
The antibody detects a 105 kDa* protein corresponding to the molecular mass of eEF2K on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human A431, HeLa, and Jurkat cells. The antibody also detected eEF2K in immunoprecipitations in HeLa cells and immunofluorescent labeling in A431 cells.

Negative control immunopreciptations with no antibody are shown in lane 5 and 7. The blots were probed with anit-EEF2K (C-terminus) (lanes 1-5) or with anti-EEF2K (N-terminal) antibody (lanes 6 & 7).
