This DuoSet ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and Recombinant . The suggested diluent is suitable for the analysis of most cell culture supernate samples. Diluents for complex matrices, such as serum and plasma, should be evaluated prior to use in this DuoSet.
* Provided that the recommended microplates, buffers, diluents, substrates and solutions are used, and the assay is run as summarized in the Assay Procedure provided.
Optimized capture and detection antibody pairings with recommended concentrations save lengthy development time
Development protocols are provided to guide further assay optimization
Assay can be customized to your specific needs

Background: MIS RII
Müllerian inhibiting substance receptor II (MIS RII) is a type II TGF-beta superfamily receptor that forms a heteromeric complex with various type I receptors to mediate MIS signaling. Mature MIS RII has a cysteine-rich, glycosylated, extracellular domain, and a cytoplasmic region containing a serine/threonine kinase domain. Rat MIS RII shares 95% and 82% aa sequence identity with its mouse and human orthologs, respectively. Embryonically, it is expressed in mesenchymal cells surrounding the Müllerian ducts. Postnatally, it is expressed in uterine tissues and Leydig cells, showing coexpression with MIS in the testicular Sertoli and ovarian granulosa cells.
