Stop Solution 2N Sulfuric Acid Summary

INTENDED USE & DESCRIPTION

Stop Solution (Part # 895032) contains 15 vials (6 mL/vial) of 2N sulfuric acid for the stopping the action of horseradish peroxidase on the tetramethylbenzidine substrate in an ELISA.

STORAGE & STABILITY

Store unopened at 2-8 °C. Stable for up to 30 days after opening when stored at 2-8 °C.

PROCEDURE

Add 50-100 µL/well to stop the action of horseradish peroxidase on the substrate, tetramethylbenzidine. If the color in the wells is green or the color change does not appear to be uniform, gently tap the plate to ensure thorough mixing.

TECHNICAL HINTS & LIMITATIONS OF THE PROCEDURE 

  • Caution: Wear protective gloves, clothing, and eye and face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Please refer to the MSDS on our website prior to use.
