Product Summary for Human Phospho-Yes (Y426) DuoSet IC

This DuoSet IC ELISA contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure phosphorylated human Yes (Y426) in cell lysates. An immobilized capture antibody specific for Yes binds both phosphorylated and unphosphorylated Yes. After washing away unbound material, a biotinylated detection antibody is used to detect only phosphorylated receptor, utilizing a standard HRP format.

Background: Yes

Yes is the cellular homolog of the oncogenic protein encoded by the Yamaguchi 73 and Esh avian sarcoma virus. After Src, Yes is the most widely expressed member of the Src family of nonreceptor tyrosine kinases. Src family kinases regulate an array of cellular processes, including growth factor signaling, cytoskeletal dynamics, and cell proliferation.
