Detection of TEM5/GPR124 in CHO-S Transfected (positive) and CHO-S Wild Type (negative) Cells.

TEM5/GPR124 was detected in immersion fixed CHO-S transfected (positive) and CHO-S wild type (negative) cells using Mouse Anti-Human TEM5/GPR124 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB88961) at 3 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Background: TEM5/GPR124

G protein-coupled receptor 124 (GPR124, also known as TEM5), is a member of the adhesion family of G protein coupled receptors and is localized on the surface of endothelial cells. GPR124 is abundantly expressed in tumor vessels, heart, placenta, ovary, small intestine, and colon. This receptor mediates endothelial cell survival during angiogenesis by linking integrin to glycosaminoglycans. GPR124 has also been shown to interact with DLG1 through its PDZ-binding motif.
